The Soviet Superwoman hadn't been sent to the Angel falls dimension/Earth Prime in 1955? What if she had been successful in stopping the alien invasion of her world?
Fast forward to Cuba, 1962.
Starshina Olga Yezhov, Soviet Superwoman to the USSR, is instrumental in making sure that ballistic missiles are placed in Cuba for Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, under the watchful eye of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro. With Stalin's death in 1959 (and a brief, disastrous time under Premier Lavrentiy Beria), Khrushchev is responding to the American threat of nuclear war by placement of their nuclear missile in allied Turkey. The new President, John F. Kennedy is certainly now tested. With the suicide of President McCarthy in 1956 and after 4 years of President Nixon, Kennedy's presidency has been marked by high tensions with Communist states in this Cold War. He has increased the number of American military advisers in South Vietnam by a factor of 18 over President Nixon. In April 1961, he authorized a failed CIA attempt to overthrow the Cuban government utilizing revolutionaries and American Hero in the infamous Bay of Pigs disaster. A military blockade of the island ultimately proved ineffective as the Soviet Superwoman simply flew past them, carrying the missiles bound for Cuba. Kennedy's failure to stop the Soviets both times in Cuba is what led to his assassination the following year in Dallas, if the conspiracy theorists are correct, and that Oswald was nothing more than a patsy to a government cover-up.
