SSW vs Hitlerjugend part 1 by Soviet-Superwoman SSW vs Hitlerjugend part 1 by Soviet-Superwoman
This is an older series of images that I realized I had never actually posted here, which is a tremendous injustice I am remedying. They are two of my all time favorites because they really capture the essence of what SSW is all about. They were commissioned to the incredible :iconjebriodo:not by myself, but by a tremendously generous fan named :iconarsuf: whose "intention was to show that Olga has compassion and a strong maternal instinct". I think I will finally write something down about what did happen to these two young, misguided boys because I am still so touched by this series. :tighthug:

The artwork was created by :iconjebriodo:, who is truly one of the masters here on DA. :iconbowplz:

Soviet Superwoman is my property and creation.

She can be currently found in :iconangel-fallsda:

Ah, yes... the Volkssturm. Hitler was so desperate as the Red Army approached Berlin that he issued an order to have every male between the ages 16 and 60 to be turned into a "National Militia" (aka Volkssturm)... Old men (some of them retired veterans from World War I) and young kids (I think the youngest Volkssturm member was 13 years old) all rounded up and sent to fight against the biggest army in the world. All the while the mustached coward was hiding in his bunker with the rest of his Nazi goons.
Some of those young boys and old men were sent with nothing but a single shot Panzerfaust, and nothing else. (The lucky ones got a K98 rifle, but you had to have previous basic knowledge on how to use a rifle and aim it.)

It's good to see that Olga was interested in sparing the lives of those people who's only fault was to be living in Berlin while a desperate Nazi tyrant was trying everything in order to prevent the Red Army to get him.

While this picture shows us how Olga reacted while facing young children, this picture makes me wonder how would the Soviet Superwoman react when facing a 60 year old man...

It's a sad history indeed and SSW did her best to take pity on those final defenders of Berlin in the last days, but I can't say she was completely altruistic every time. She was hunting down those cowering men (and one fleeing woman) and that was her primary objective.

Or the double 12.8 cm (128mm) "Flakzwilling 40"...though I doubt it will do them any good.

That's a very Retro Superman pose Olga's doing there. I like it.

Would I be right in thinking Olga has/had a counterpart in this dimension? If so, have you ever done anything with her? I know she'd probably be dead by now, but still...

Huh... so I'm guessing these were members of the Hitler youth that were brainwashed and pressed into service?

By 1943, Nazi leaders began turning the Hitler Youth into a military reserve to replace manpower which had been depleted due to tremendous military losses. At the end of the war, the Youth formed a major part of the last line of German defense, and were reportedly among the fiercest fighters. Although the city commander ordered the Reichsjugendführer to disband the Hitler Youth combat formations, in the confusion this order was never carried out. The remnants of the youth brigade were obliterated by the advancing Russian forces; only two survived.

The picture is very well done, I especially love the 1940's feel of the art, it looks like something you would have seen in a newspaper around that time. Well Done to the artist.
