Last Vision

This magnificent piece of art (and the story behind it) were both created by my good friend, the amazingly talented

This is a depiction from the Battle of Kursk, 20th July 1943, at the end of the German offensive. The Soviet Superwoman had just taken a direct hit from an 88mm shell courtesy of a nearby Tiger tank. The tank commander opened the top hatch to get a better look since everything was obscured by the smoke, confident that he has just defeated this new Soviet super-weapon. When it clears and he sees this beautiful, muscular woman stepping through the carnage, the only thing ruined being her costume, he is too speechless and enamored to fire a second volley.

You can guess why this piece was called "Last Vision".
